Mr. Thompson interviewed GGK at Mythcon 1989, as part of a series of interviews with authors of modern Arthurian Literature. The interview thus focuses solely on The Fionavar Tapestry. Topics covered include what attracted GGK to Arthurian legend, and why he included it as a thread in the Fionavar Tapestry, how he struck a balance between the Arthurian element and the rest of the story, and the basis for GGK's conception of Arthur as the cursed and eternal warrior.
This interview was done over e-mail in January 1995. Topics covered include how GGK became involved in editing The Silmarillion, the portrayal and meaning of sex in The Fionavar Tapestry and Tigana, and whether the last line of Tigana suggests a sequel or not.

This interview was done with Jean-Louis Trudel in 1995, for the French language magazine Solaris. It is a very detailed interview, and topics covered include where GGK travels when writing his books, whether or how he was influenced by Stephen Donaldson's work, religion and fantasy, and how GGK decides on names in his books.

Event Horizon is a Science Fiction and Fantasy ezine. This chat was conducted in April of '99. Most of the questions focus on Sailing to Sarantium, the sources for the religions in the book, the amount of magic in the book, and whether fantasy by definition has to contain 'magic.'
